Around 3pm on Wednesday a call came in about a man who had shot himself. The police of Wilmington, Delaware arrived and asked the man who was in a wheel chair to put his hands up and drop his weapon. When the man did not obey the officers request, he was shot and killed by the officers. The victim mother believes that the shooting was unjust. The police chief, Bobby Cummings said the officers were concerned that the man might fire his weapon when he began to reach for his waist and remove the weapon. The victim was 28 years old and he was paralyzed from his waist down.
